Two leads are leavingGrey’s Anatomy…and it’s shocking!

Jessica Capshaw, who has played Dr. Arizona Robbins for 10 seasons, andSarah Drewwho has played Dr. April Kepner for nine seasons, will both be exiting the show after the current season. The decision was reportedly made by the producers, and they will be the only series regular actors to depart after this season,Deadlinereports.“It’s always hard for me to say goodbye to any of my characters,” executive producerShonda Rhimessaid in a statement. “Both Arizona Robbins and April Kepner are not only beloved but iconic — both the LBGTQ and devout Christian communities are underrepresented onTV. I will be forever grateful to bothJessicaandSarahfor bringing these characters to life with such vibrant performance and for inspiring women around the globe.They will always be a part of our Shondaland family.”Technically,Grey’s Anatomyhas not been renewed for a 15th season by ABC yet, but the show is expected to continue on.Ellen Pompeorecentlysigned a massive new contract.
